New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) His "light-hearted" comments and witty repartee as the host of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' may have held kids and youngsters in thrall but many purists feel that some of the remarks made by Shahrukh Khan on the show have contributed to its ''fall from the grace that the Big B imparted to it''.Shahrukh's recent comments on the show making fun of 'Vastu Shastra' and it exponents have drawn flak from many of the Vastu Shastra experts in India who say the remarks made by the 'King Khan' are "not in good taste".''In a recent episode of the 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', Shahrukh made fun of Vastu Shastra experts claiming that some of the warnings issued to him by an expert did not turn out to be true. ''This is not in good taste and needs to be condemned in the strongest terms,''noted Vastu Shastri Manoj Jain told UNI here.''Just because in, say, one out of 100 cases, the advice on Vastu Shastra given to you did not prove to be accurate does not mean you should start making fun of the art of Vastu Shastra and its exponents. It is like denigrating the medical profession just because one doctor's diagnosis about one's health proved to be inaccurate.'' Poking fun at the expense of a Vedic science like Vastu Shastra and its exponents without being aware of its intricacies is not proper and certainly not in good taste, Jain said.''Shah Rukh is a big and a popular actor whose remarks on television are followed by lakhs of people who are his admirers. It does not behove an celebrity like Shahrukh to make such cheap comments like he did on the show. It only goes to show his level of ignorance about the Indian culture and its traditions,''the Vastu Shastra expert said.Jain said comments like those made by Shahrukh as host of the third edition of the KBC had led to the show's ''fall from the grace that it had attained while Superstar Amitabh Bachchan was its host.
